​How do I book an appointment?

How much will I pay for my session?
The standard fee for a therapy session is $100 -$170. However we offer a range of programs with more affordable pricing. Click here for more information.

Can my session be covered with insurance?
We accept most private insurances. Please speak with our administration team to confirm your insurance package has this benefit.

Are your services covered by OHIP?
No, OHIP does not cover Better Life Counselling services.

When can I contact your office?
We are available through e-mail at any time at:  info@blcc.ca
We are available to take phone calls from 12-7pm Monday-Friday and 12-4 on Saturday and Sunday. 

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a scheduled session please call the center at (647)-726-2999 or e-mail us at info@blcc.ca in advance at least
24 HOURS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED SESSION as we have a late cancellation fee.


What are the costs of IFH, MVA or EAP programs?
There is no cost to the client to access these services. These programs are funded and therefore allow for therapy services to be cost-free for the client.

BLCC provides psychotherapy services in: ​Arabic, English, Farsi, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, Tamil , Korean and Mandarin
Volunteering:

What qualifications do I need to apply to Better life Counselling Center?
You should be an undergraduate or graduate student studying either social work, counselling, or psychology in order to apply as a volunteer at BLCC.
 
How do I apply?
You may complete the volunteer application form on our website. Qualified candidates will be invited for an interview.

Becoming a counselor at BLCC:

What qualifications do I need as a counsellor?
You must be a member of one of the colleges of Psychologists, Social workers, or Psychotherapists of Ontario.You must also have at least 5 years of experience. A second language would also be a valuable asset.

What types of workshops do you offer?
We offer multiple workshops that include Gestalt therapy, Art of Counselling therapy, Smart Play therapy, Triple “p” Parenting therapy and Experimental Art therapy
