Sahar Mozafari (HBSc, MA) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with more than seven years of experience in mental health counseling and group facilitation. She received her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from York University and a Masters of Clinical Psychology from Azad University. While working at hospice Toronto, she has helped young children through their uncertainty, depression, anxiety, grief, and bereavement. Sahar has successfully completed training in Immigrant and Refugee Mental Health under the auspices of Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). She has experience in supporting adults in developing life skills and resolving concerns with self-esteem, assertiveness, problem-solving, emotion-regulation, and effective communication.
